The male line of the "Nikolaevichi" is going to die out like the "Konstantinovichi" line. The only living direct male descendants of Grand Duke Nikolai Nikolaevich are the head of the Romanov Family Association, Prince Nikolai Romanovich and his brother, Prince Dmitri Romanovich. Prince Dmitri has no children at all and Prince Nikolai has three daughters, but no male issue:
